PARTNERSHIP before PROFIT
Bournemouth Interpreters’ Group CIC exists primarily to facilitate public and voluntary sector access to locally-based, qualified, accredited and experienced community interpreters. Registered providers can simply log into our interpreter database to book an interpreter direct. Alternatively, we can arrange an interpreter for you – just contact us with the relevant details.
Registration for bona fide public and voluntary sector providers is simple and free. Just send us a request with your contact details and within 24 hours you will receive a User ID and password to access the Find an Interpreter facility. You will also be sent full User Guidelines and of course have access to any advice and support you may require.

TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES
On request, a representative of Bournemouth Interpreters’ Group will meet personally with any Service Provider who wishes to access the Register or to use our services, in order to discuss any specific requirements and answer any questions. This service is offered completely free of charge.
At the same time, we are also willing to offer the considerable expertise available to the Group in delivering customised training workshops/sessions to any Service Provider organisation to help them to learn how to make the best use of an interpreter. If you think this latter option may be of interest, please let us know your possible requirements and we will submit a training proposal including a breakdown of costs.
You can view an excellent general introductory guide to the use of interpreters in the public sector, produced by the Regional Languages Network in conjunction with the Institute of Linguists.
